Children

I am concerned about children, the subject of "Children's Rights." I can't find any official ones on the internet.  Do children have a Bill of Rights? The best thing I discovered is one that reads "We, Children from seven countries and three continents, having communicated with each other over the internet, agree that the following are natural rights of Children all over the world, and hereby
ratify them:

Preamble

We believe that a successful socitty invests its best resources and hopes in the succress of its children.  An unsuccessful socitty ignores or maltreats its children.

Children are the future of our species.  How a sociity treats its children is a direct reflection of how that society looks at its future.  The Children's Bill or Rights proposes rights for children that all adults on Earth should honor, so that we may help create the very best future for ourselves and, in turn, our own children.

A moral and competent society is one that respects and upholds the rights of its children.  A society that fails to do so is immoral and incompetent.  http;//www.newciv.org/ncn/cbor.html

India

My interest of late is in India.  The little children in Bangalore to be exact.  It is on my list of places to go.  I've read some about its wealthy side, the fashion, their silicon valley, the produce, the floriculture and the great granite deposits.  From the things I read it sounds like here the United States and its richer aspects anyway.  While their wealth makes me very happy to hear about, my main interest is with the children in need. Like the United States has its poor I'm sure India Bangalore has its poor also. Wonder, Do all the children rech & poor there have equal opportunities for education?
